Appetizers, Entrees, Desserts, and Drinks: Quick Holiday Recipes

There is nothing I look forward to more during the holidays than the time spent with my family and friends over food and good wine. These recipes are some of my favorite to add cheer to the food and keep all guests full and happy.

Whether this is your first holiday season surrounded by your military family or your 15th, hopefully this list will add some fun additions to your gathering.

Desserts

Chocolate Crinkle cookies are a tradition in my household and are definitely worth the time it takes to make these. My go-to is the Betty Crocker recipe, which in my own opinion the best recipe. Definitely gives these cookies a try. They are not only delicious, but look gorgeous and can make a great centerpiece.

I am a big believer that desserts are not only tasty, but a lovely gift to give neighbors and friends. This peppermint bark recipe is a fun twist on the treat with sandwich cookies and would be a lovely treat. Just be careful that you don’t eat all of it before your guests arrive!

Mint Brownies. Need I say more. These beauties are SO tasty and everyone will be asking for the recipe.

Drinks

Nothing makes me happier than a glass of wine while I’m cooking or eating snacks through out holiday party. But every once in a while I like to add a fun and funky drink to the mix to spice things up.

Try out this Frozen Gin & Tonic drink to add an extra boozy drink to your get-together.

My absolute FAVORITE holiday drink is this beautiful sangria. It is not only tasty, but absolutely gorgeous. Your guests will be asking for the recipe and shocked by how easy and simple it is.

An amazing non-alcoholic drink for all ages is this Holiday Punch. This punch is beautiful and will be a crowd pleaser.
