Score Big With 4 Easy Super Bowl Recipes

Are you feeling overwhelmed by “Easy-Just-20-Steps-and-Three-Hours-of-Effort” Super Bowl recipes? Me too. So here are 4 *really* simple recipes that will be a great play on game day.

Are you feeling saucy about your team not making the cut? Make Spicy Buffalo Chicken Dip.

For this dip, you’ll need:

  • Two packs of cream cheese
  • 1/2 bottle of hot sauce
  • 1 cup of ranch dressing
  • A 12 oz. bag of cheddar cheese
  • Two drained cans of chicken

Mix everything in a crockpot and simmer on low for three hours. Stir when you remember you have food cooking. If you don’t want your friends to cry, use run-of-the-mill hot sauce instead of your favorite ghost pepper version. Grab tortilla chips and celery for dipping!

Score a touchdown with football-shaped Rice Krispies Treats!

For this classic, pick up:

  • Half a stick of butter
  • A box of Rice Krispies
  • 10-ounce bag of marshmallows.
  • Chocolate frosting and a tube of white frosting

Melt marshmallows and butter together in a pan, then remove from heat and add Rice Krispies. Mix thoroughly, then spread an inch thick onto a baking sheet.

After cooling, take a butter knife and cut arcs across the long sides to form a football shape. Cover with chocolate frosting, because chocolate makes everything better. Once frosted, pick up a white frosting tube and add the laces with the flourish of a French sous-chef.

Thirsty for a win? Strawberry-lemonade punch is a quick success!

To add pizzazz to your party, blend a bag of frozen strawberries and a bottle of lemonade in a blender. Pour into a pitcher along with three cans of Sprite, and any leftover frozen strawberries. Add edible shimmer powder for a shiny half-time drink.

Slide into the last quarter of the game with Delicious Meatball Sliders.

Create this last addition with:

  • Frozen Italian meatballs
  • Hawaiian slider buns
  • Marinara sauce
  • Mozzarella, and parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil and Italian seasoning

Cook Italian meatballs and sauce together for 10 minutes in a pot, and preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Put the bottoms of the buns in a pan and add sauce and cheese. Layer meatballs, cheese, and more sauce, because we don’t have time for dry sliders on game day.

Brush the tops of the buns with oil and sprinkle Italian seasoning and parmesan from above for extra oomph. Bake for 10 minutes covered in tin foil, then another ten minutes uncovered to be officially ready for the big game. Touchdown!
