Deployed Love is a non-profit based out of Fort Bragg in North Carolina. It is a fully volunteer-run organization providing a community for the families when their military member is deployed overseas.
What started as one person’s idea, quickly became an entire team’s dream! Creating a community that supports military families while their loved ones are deployed has been growing into a beautiful reality! What is often a hard and stressful time for military families can now be a time they look forward to knowing they will have a large community to reach out to for support, and events to keep them busy.
We have created a community of military spouses, families and the community we live in giving back to one another – our main event is our Holiday Mini Sessions. Families with military members deployed over the holiday season receive free photo sessions from professional photographers in our community.
We do the event once a year all on the same day, and we accommodate over 110 families each year. This is our 3rd year, and we are really excited to expand in 2020. We are planning on reaching 4 new bases in 2020 to include Fort Benning, Georgia; Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Fort Hood, Texas; Fort Carson, Colorado.
To do that we are really going to be on the search for reliable, experienced, and fun people who love the military and want to give back there time and be part of an event like this!
We will be opening applications up in January as we begin to launch into what is going to be an amazing year for Deployed Love!
