Starbucks Is Bringing Back the S’Mores Frappuccino

From People.com

You asked, and Starbucks listened: The S’mores Frappuccino is returning this summer.

Making its debut in 2015, Starbucks’ sweet drink was inspired by the sweet nostalgia of making gooey s’mores around a crackling campfire—the ultimate taste of summer. Returning again for the summer in 2016 and 2017, the S’mores Frapp soon became the frosty kick-off to summer Starbucks lovers began to count on.

To many fans’ dismay, Starbucks discontinued the S’mores Frappuccino in the summer of 2018, and several took to social media to express their distress.

Take Twitter user @ztygerlilly, who asked Starbucks to “Please bring back the S’mores frappuccino!?! It’s getting to be a life or death situation up in here!!” or @samanthajoyx3, who claimed that “the S’mores Frappuccino being discontinued is probably the worst news I’ve heard in 2018.”

@Starbucks Will you please bring back the S'mores frappuccino!?! Its getting to be a life or death situation up in here!!

@Starbucks the S’mores Frappuccino being discontinued is probably the worst news I’ve heard in 2018. Why do you consistently discontinue my favorite drinks? ???

— Sam Porter (@samanthajoyx3) May 6, 2018

I knew 2018 wasn’t gonna be my year because Starbucks didn’t resell the s’mores Frappuccino

— ??Angelica Pickles?? (@tinyspecofdust) January 6, 2019

Determined not to ruin summer for another year in a row, Starbucks has decided to put the popular beverage back on the menu for the summer of 2019, starting April 30. The Frappuccinos will be available for a limited time at participating stores in the U.S. and Canada.

A blend of marshmallow-infused whipped cream, milk chocolate sauce, coffee, milk and ice, the S’mores Frappuccino comes topped with more marshmallow whipped cream and crunchy graham cracker crumbles to complete the classic flavor.

Can’t get enough s’mores? Starbucks also sells Golden S’mores coffee in grocery stores nationwide, so you can take home the flavor and indulge whenever you feel like it.

Alternatively, you can always channel your childhood and make a good ol’ classic s’more around the fire (or in the microwave). Check out these recently announced chocolate-stuffed marshmallows from Stuffed Puffs, designed to make the s’mores making process that much easier.
