New scholarships for transfer students
We understand that you may have credits from other universities, places where you didn’t get the support you’ll find at CMU. Here we offer transfer scholarships to our online students:
- Full-time students can earn up to $10,500 over three years if you have a 3.5 cumulative college GPA and a minimum of 24 earned credits.
- Part-time students can earn up to $3,000 over three years if you have a 3.0 cumulative college GPA and a minimum of 12 earned credits.
Transfer credit for students with an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree
Prior Learning Credit
You can receive credit for life and work experiences. This is an excellent way to get credit for what you have already learned. You document any prior training that relates to your degree. If it matches outcomes for your program, you earn credits at a substantially reduced rate. You can earn up to 60 credit hours of your bachelor’s degree this way and save thousands of dollars.
Active-duty military tuition rate and Federal employee tuition rate apply to military spouses
Spouses of active-duty military qualify for our military tuition rate. Spouses of DoD and other Federal employees qualify for a 15% savings on tuition for courses taken online.
