Hi Readers!
Writing is my home, my characters are my friends. When I published my first book, I wanted to create stories that resonated with readers of all backgrounds. We all hurt, we all overcome adversity, and we all love. Exploring the many facets of life is what I love to do.
I come from a long line of brave men and women who have served our country with honor. One lesson I’ve learned from my father, my grandfather, and my father-in-law is the importance of service before self, whether we’re on the front line or serving the underserved in this country.
In Enticed By You, Parker Wells Jr. has a strong desire to serve his community in a positive way. While he’s not serving the homeless and mental health population in Wellspring like his sister, Brooklyn, he wishes to use his influence to make lasting change in a town that has suffered under the control of his own father. The Wells’ children are a product of a ruthless, uncaring man, but I wanted to show that it is possible to rise above our circumstance and make a difference in our communities.
Being able to bring heroes and heroines to life on the page, and build small towns like Wellspring, Michigan from the bottom up through my imagination has been such an amazing experience.
