It’s true, we often find ourselves in a sea of cammies, combat boots and dress blues. Our world consists of 50 shades of green, missing PT belts, and various other clothing items described with a mouth full of acronyms. In contrast to the often painted portrait of our lives through outsider eyes, we aren’t all about uniforms, order, and all things military. Our children are adorable, our homes are average, yet blissful, safe havens, and believe it or not we look strikingly similar to our civilian neighbors.
