Bunker Labs, a nonprofit network of veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs dedicated to helping the military connected community start their own business – is launching a Military Spouse CEO Circle program in celebration of Military Spouse Appreciation Day on May 8, 2020.
The Military Spouse CEO Circle is intended for military spouses to come together to connect and support each other around the challenges of being an entrepreneur. While the CEO Circle program has been offered by Bunker Labs in the past, this is the first version offered virtually.
“We realized the program has the capacity to create the impact that entrepreneurs need right now, and so it was adapted over the last month for a virtual format,” said Sabrina Wojtewicz, Southwest region executive director for Bunker Labs. Wojtewicz is a military spouse herself and the leader of the Military Spouse CEO Circle program.
One of Bunker Labs mantras is that people will be who they can see. So by sharing more military spouse success stories and content they can relate with, Bunker Labs hopes to inspire and empower more military spouses to power through the challenges of entrepreneurship.
The Military Spouse CEO Circle program is just one of many offered to military spouses including Bunker Labs’ Launch Lab online, the Veterans in Residence Program, and Bunker Brews events (now all virtual given the public health situation).
The Military Spouse CEO Circle Program is launching nationally, so it will be available as a virtual model at all chapters. Local chapters can be found here. Participants will be able to choose the cohort structure that best adheres to their needs whether it be geographically based, industry-based or peer groups — like the military spouse program.
“What we’ve done is aggregate peer groups of entrepreneurs that are living the daily grind and grit of running and growing their businesses so they can crowdsource and share in a structured way what is working for them,” she said.
