30) I have learned to always tell my service member that the sacrifices they are making are being noticed.

31) Live life one day at a time.

32) Life as you know it will never be the same.

33) Quitting is not an option… perseverance is what we do.

34) True love is always worth the wait… days, months, years.

35) Remember the pride and strength you gain from this experience.

36) Make time for birthdays, holidays, etc when you have it… don’t count too much on celebrating on the actual date.

37) Regardless of the danger, you cannot think about the “possibilities”, but only the here, now and reality of your relationship.

38) It’s difficult, but the wait and distance is worth it!

39) How strong love and commitment can really be!

40) Military life is a grand adventure full of heartache, frustration, and anger… but also love, patience, trust, and perseverance!

41) Learn how to be alone.

42) The military manages their time. They don’t have a choice. You have to understand and accept that.

43) I have learned tenderness and sensitivity due to some of the things my service member has been through.

44) Definitions of “early” aren’t the same in the military. “I’ll be home early” doesn’t mean it is going to happen.

45) I have learned to do everything without the military making it easy.

46) To put one foot in front of the other and drive on… tomorrow’s another day!

47) Trust, respect and pride in our relationship!

48) Just how amazing the members of our military truly are!

49) When you find the right person, it doesn’t matter what they do… you just make it work.

50) Nothing worth fighting for is ever easy.
