6. The Loyalist
The pajama pants, messy house, lack of bathed children, cereal for dinner friend. No expectations, no fuss, and no worries. These friends are only experienced on the most intimate of levels (usually). Often times you’ve ridden a few hard roads together (deployments anyone?), seen each other during the worst and decided to stick around anyway. These friends are gold, rare, and ever necessary.
7. The BFF
The ultimate friend that encompasses all of the above and then some. Should we be lucky enough to have such a friend we must be sure to give as much as we receive and love as much as they labor.
Friends are priceless, especially within our realm. Often times when family is oceans, mountains, and states away, we are buoyed up by adopted family-our friends. May we strive to seek out those who compliment and aid us on our journey and be the same to others we link arms with along the way.
