Sign-up Begins Veterans Day, Nov. 11, for Exclusive Weekend Trip on May 8 – 10
Westgate Resorts will give away 1,500 free vacations to U.S. military personnel beginning Nov. 11 at 9 a.m. EST at www.westgatesalutes.com. Since initiating this program nine years ago, Westgate has provided more than 25,000 free nights to eligible active duty and veteran military personnel and their families on Veterans Day.

Starting at 9 a.m. EST on Nov. 11, 2019, the first 1,500 eligible military personnel who visit www.westgatesalutes.com and complete the online military appreciation form will receive a complimentary stay for up to four guests at Westgate Town Center Resort & Spa or Westgate Vacation Villas Resort & Spa during the weekend of May 8-10, 2020 in a Studio Villa. Both full-service resorts feature extensive amenities and are just one mile from the main entrance to Walt Disney World Resort. The 1,500 free vacations are for military members who have deployed to a combat zone, combat veterans, Gold Star families and their immediate family members. A valid DD214 for combat veterans or a currently active Military ID card will be required in order to receive final confirmation.
During their stay in Orlando, all attendees will receive a complimentary three-day, two-night stay in a Studio Villa (additional nights can be purchased), free admission for up to four guests to the on-site Shipwreck Island Water Park and access to a Military Resource Fair featuring more than 20 nonprofit organizations dedicated to supporting our service members.
The highlight of the weekend will be an outdoor concert with family activities, complimentary concessions and a spectacular fireworks show.
Drawing attendees from across the country, Westgate Military Weekend has become a favorite getaway for military families who have enjoyed the free Orlando vacations to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and homecomings; reconnect with friends whom since have been stationed elsewhere; and, spend quality time with loved ones. Notable appearances from the 2019 event include actor and philanthropist Gary Sinise and his band the Lt. Dan Band, Grammy Award-winning singer Lee Greenwood, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, and many decorated military guests. The event also included the donation of $50,000 from the Westgate Resorts Foundation to three charitable organizations that support the military.
